Sorry I haven´t written before, but I´ve been really busy with my end-of-term exams. Today is Sunday, the twenty eight of August. It is hot today. I am in the beach with Pepe and Paty my parents. We live in a fourth floor apartment in Tavernes de la Valldigna. It´s an building old without elevator.

My English to go from bad to worse. Because, I studied English seventh years ago, when I left school.

I wasn´t sure what to do, so I decided to take an opportunity to improve my English.

I am studing English now. I am writing, reading and watching the basic English. I was early getting up every day. I usually study English in the morning.

My Holiday This Summer

In July I will go away with my family for a week on vacations to Santo Domingo. We are flying and we are going to stay in the hotel Blue Day. There I will be able to enjoy the lonmg beaches and the fantastic crystel water that exist there. We will also know the Island by means of the excursions that the hotel will organize.

In our return we 'll go for 2 days to Italy where my aunt lives. I'm very enthusiast since long ago I haven't seen her long ago.

Mynex holidays will be the best of my life I hope. I need a lots of things to have a good time.
In August I will go to my village with all my family and all my friends.I like my village because have many things to do. At any moment I can go to the beach and visit La Coruña to do anything.

Difference Between UK and US English

English, as we all know, is considered as the universal language. It is spoken all over the world. However, you will also notice that people all over the world are using different types of English. Let’s take a closer look at these two popular types: UK and US English.
Even if both types of English are widely used, there are some differences that will be worth knowing to identify the type of English that you are using.

US English is what we know as the American English which is widely used in the United States. UK English, on the other hand, is known as the British English. Some also call it the BBC English since it is the English used by British reporters, and another name for it is the Queen’s English.
In terms of vocabulary, some words in US English may mean something different in UK English. For example, the word biscuit for the British means baked sweet or savoury cake that is hard when baked and softens over time; while in the US it is a quick bread served with savoury foods.
With regards to pronunciation, American English is more nasal. Stress is also another difference to consider. Just like in the word princess, British stress the second syllable while Americans stressed the first.

Grammar approach also poses some difference between the two. US English makes use of simple past tense in situations where British will use the present perfect tense. This sometimes creates confusion since the rules and use of grammar is different between the two.
Whether you prefer to use US or UK English, you have to familiarize yourself with how each one is used to ensure that messages are sent clearly.
Summary:
1.US English is identified as American English while UK English is more popularly known as British English.

2.US English may stress a word on the first syllable while UK English will normally put stress on the second syllable.
3.US English adopts the –og on some word endings instead of the –ogue that UK English prefers.

The Paseo de la Castellana crosses Madrid from North to South, and a certain area is also the name of the Paseo de Recoletos and Paseo del Prado. As it crosses Alcalá street, is the Cibeles square, where you can also see, on one side the imposing post office and the other the Casa de América. The communication is something that goes with humans because we need to communicate with each other and it was essential from the beginnig of time, (see the film 2001).
At the beginning of time humans communicated throught body signs, signals and sounds in the open space and in the environment.
Later on it changed into letters, oral language, written messages and books Then the phone was invented, fax, up to the new mobile phone, then the computer with the Internet and wireless devices we have today.
At the present means of communication are changing rapidly every day more and is common to all people because they do not know how to live without being able to communicate and it is very useful to get in touch with relatives abroad .

Today the news tell us about things that happen worldwide from Canada to India or fron Spain to Japan.

At present, how to communicate the news is very diverse, with new technologies such as computer and the Internet it is easier and faster through e-mail, videos or photos.
They also continue to use more traditional methods such as newspapers, magazines, or following the oral tradition on the street.

An unexpected accident

All they were in the garden of the school playing,make happy,euphoric,adundance of vitality...
When my friend happen an idea,to swing with the string that was surrounding the garden, they encouraged me to do it.I was nervuous an,I said they are going to swing.
They all were swinging,when I come they all decided to swing me. They did it in such a away that I went to hit against the wall and fell to the soil almost unconscious.The director of the school I ask foor the culprits.I did not accused anybody and they punished them all.
Ultimately they decided to remove the string of the garden,in order that other pupils were not commiting the same act.

THE USE OF MOBILE PHONE FOR CHILDREN

Children under the age of 13 should not use a mobile phone, because they are too young.Mobile-phones are very dangerous for the children, because they can turn into a mobile phone addicts, and they will not study at home.
Mobile phones are only to be used by grown-up people that they are more responsible than children are. In my opinion, the callon mobile phones in young children is very worrying, because I don´t think it is healthy for children to keep on talking for long on their mobile phone.
In conclusion, the of mobile phone should not be recomended to be used by children because they are not ready to handle it.

The Last Book I Have Read.

The last book I have read was The Legend of Huma of Richard aknaak of the collection of Dragolance. I read it a moth ago. This collection tells the story of a magical world kryn in this world of magician dwarves, elves and the warrios of Samia, with the good dragon, fighting Dragons of Dark goddess and their armis. In The Legend of Huma, telles the story of warrios of Solamia, whose name is Huma, who afther a series of adventure with his friends, one friend is a child who is a magician, an hunderbull, an earl, another warrios of Solmia and silver-dragon, tagg them self the only weapon capable of defeating the Dark goodess Takkesi. And the end is in the book.
I liked the book and because is fiction. I have mentioned this book, as it was recomended to me. If anyone is interested I can loend it to you.

To ride on a bicycle is one of the best exercises for health, as you work less.
A bicycle occupies less space than a car.You can forget petrol, the ITV, the taxes and saves money in insurances and in repairs.The bicycle reduces the number of cars and reduces the pollution.It makes you feel free, and independent. You can also forget traffic jams and problems of parking.The bicycle is faster than the car in short urban distances.It is more efficientb that the car in energy terms, consumes 12times less than a full car to carry a person.

My Ideal Holiday

I think that children under 13 should have their own mobile phone, becase it can be useful in certain situations. Having a mobile phone just to enjoy it is not the best solution, but parents can be more relaxed, because they could phone their children at any moment, and know where they are, and what they are doing. Of course, children could be calling their friends all the time, and it can be dangerous, as it could turn into an addiction. But I think that education is what matters, so parents should teach their children the way to act and how to take control of it.

The mobile phone is an invetion that today many people use.The first phones were big and heavy,but now they are small and have many accesories,for example, you can take pictures, you can use the internet, you can play games, use a calculator,etc.
There are people who use movile phones to stay and lead to aggresion toward other.
The are people who shouldn't be allowed to use a mobile phone.
Another problem is that children also have mobile phones, when they should not.

I use the movile phone every day. I don`t call every day but it has saved me from several difficulties. A mobile phone is a useful tool, and necessary only when we use the mobile phone in a responsible way.

My parents give me my first mobile phone when I was 16 years old. My mobile phone was smashed two months ago by me.
I was talking to my friends, however, while we were walking I got a very bad news: my dog was missing!
Then, I rang with my phone home, but anyone answered the phone.
I was very angry and I took my mobile phone and I threw it against the floor. Two hors later my dog appeared near my house, but I had to buy a new mobile phono, because mine had been destroyed.

I think that children under the age of 13 shouldn't have a mobile phone, because the mobile phone is not esential for our life. In my opinion, if some children have got mobile phones there could be some advantages and disadvantages.
First when parents know where their sons are (in the park, at the cinema,...), they feel confident, although, children under the age of 13 shoulden't go out with friends until very late.
Another advantages, for example, can be if a child is stolen he can phone his parents more easily. I believe that a child don't need mobile phone.

I'm going to China. In China I will go to the best hotel where I could see any interesting place. I would like to eat in the best restaurant, I will have shushi and sake. The last book I have read was "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. It is an allegorical novella published on August 1945, the book reflects events leading up to and during the Stalin era, before World War II. Time Magazine chose the book as one of the 100 best English-language novels (1923 to 2005); it also places at number 31 on the Modern Library List of Best 20th-Century Novels. Advantages and disadvantages of living in a rented flat

In my opinion the advantages of living in a rented apartment is not to pay the community, when changing to another bigger, you do not have to be a primus inter pares of the community, you do not have to buy furniture.
The disadvantages are that you will pay every month and it will change in years, you can not get new furniture if you like.
If something is broken you have to call the owner to be replaced.
In conclusion, the rented flat is when you go to live with friends or with your parther for a few months.

It was early morning, when I heard a noise from the kitchen.
I was scared, because all my family was in bed. I turned on the kitchen light and I was astonisted, two people were dressed in black, pointing at me with a carving knife.
I screamed, my family woke up, and the burglars took advantage of the situatio to scape.
They didn´t steal much. Only two jewels and a tv set.
But, as I could see their faces, I went to the police to report this damage.
After three days the burglars were fortunately all arrested.

I`d like to go to France. I`d like to visit Saint Tropez. I`d like to travel there to look for a job. People are very nice and gentle, and the food is delicious. But in France life is very expensive. Who would like to return to Spain? I would not wish to return as I love to live in Saint Tropez.

It is a snow covered landscape of the Sierra de Madrid in the area of Cotos pass.
The water falls down the river carriying the melted snow.
At the back of the landscape the pine forest appears with a few bushes near the river.
There is an enclosure next to the river.
It is a nice winter landscape of the Sierra de Navacerrada in Madrid.
The water of the stream goes down a long the vallery fed by the snow of the mountain slope.

It is a large city, it is usually clean, expensive according to the area where you go, there are some great lines of transport such as buses, metro and train (Renfe). The fastest transport is the subway. Madrid is the capital of the Iberian Peninsula.
It is my favorite place, because it is my city and I love it, although noisy and peple wak with a lot of stress. The city has got shopping malls, theaters, cinemas, museums and exhibitions in them, so you can choose among a great variety to have a great time in it.

I love the city because I have got very good memories of this city.

Young people shuld do voluntary work

Some people say that young people only want to have fun, but young people are not like that.
In my view, more young people do several jobs to help the society.
Obviously, when the military service was compulsory, every young men should go to the army, and they served as soldiers to his country. Based on what I have seen and heard, everyone should do the military service, as they seem to be happy when they remember that experience.So, I strongly believe that the government should impose military service again, that way young people would have fun, but learn a job , and would enjoy their military service in a modern way.

In my opinion, young people should not do voluntary work. Because they would want to do voluntary work, but it should not be requiered. On the one hand if young people do voluntary work they would take some jobs away. Because if there are young people to work in gardens, or help the disabled, there are two examples in which some people work. But young people can do other work as volunteers: to help to distribute food and gather,and help in communal kitchens, make company to the elderly who are alone, if the young men or wemen want to.
In conclusion, young people should do voluntary work only in case it is optional for them.

In my opinion recycling is very important because it helps the environment and in the long term to save the Earth. It allows us not to spend so many natural resources from the Earth. If we give a sollution to the expenses of our natural resources, our disregard could cause us great dispair because there is no time to lose. An example is the hole in the ozone layer in the North Pole is a global warning. And If we don`t worry all about the dangerous effects ther would not be a solution. But the benefits will not be only in favour of nature,recycling is a way to save resources a much lower cost.
For this reason, I would advise every one that they should recycle costantly.

I'd like to go abroad to th USA because it is a where there are so many people of different cultures. I'd like to know all about this 'melting pot' culture, the museums, the Metropolitan Museum, the MOMA, an all the parks, just to be like a tuorist. I would visit Central Park at Christmas, I remember that from many films, and I'd like to learn English, but I found it rather difficult.
I don't like the food as it very American, lets say, junk food. I'd like to change Euros into Dollars, and I would climb up to the Empire State Building. I would go to Los Angeles, California, then I'd visit Miami...and the Northern States.
But I should go with company. I need to start a new life and spend a time in Miami beach. I'd like to work in the Motown Records, and drive a Harley Davison.
I would like to go to Graceland in Memphis, to visit the house where Elvis used to live until his death. There we could see his grave, as it is the second most visited house after the White House.

I want to go abroad to know about a new culture and to see different countries, and to do some sightseeing. I would also like to have and find new adventures and I would try to learn a new lenguage.
I also want to go abroad to take pictures of different landscapes from Canadá, and North America, but I wouldn´t go to countries where they do not respect women rights, as they have repressive politics. I only would go abroad on holiday for one moth or two.
I don´t like to be away from family and friends a lot of time, because they are essential to me and I need to be near my home.I only would go abroad on holiday as a tourist, to enjoy landscapes and cities in Europe and all over North America.

Wolverine

Wolverine is one the best action films of the year. Hugh Jackman plays the part of Logan. The film is about a mutant. The story takes place in Canada in 1987.
Logan is a normal person but with strange powers that noone knows until an evil organization of mutants make him one of them.
For that reason he is injected adamantium what causes him to go claw hands. Years later, and already retired, Logan advance the death of his wife and kills all mutants of the organization, including his brother.
This visual efect is spectacular this acting in general is excellent, Hugh Jackman is totally convincing as Victor Creed, and Laiya makes a brillant part. The plot is easy, and the dialogue is brilliant.
Another thing that I enjoyed, was the soundtrack which was really great. The film is amazing, it made me think of my recommendation that is to go and see it now.

Robert Nesta Marley was born on February 6th 1945 in Nine Miles (Jamaica). At the end of the 50's, Bob and his mother went to Kingston. The rastafari religion was very important in his life.

In 1963, Bob Marley and other people formed a musical group, it was called Wailing Wailers. After several trips in the USA and Jamaica, he created another group The Wailers.

My favorite thing is a book, but not an ordinary book. The book is called Vademecum. In this book there are the human pathologies, besides its anatomy. It has also got a section about all medicaments that exist, its characteristics and its active principles, in addiction to the treatment for the disease. The Vademecum also contains the names of the laboratories that make medicines and some generals, but not all, because a medication is usually when the patent ends lavoratory.
In the leaves of the book there also appears human physiology of the body, explains the fuctioning of every organ. Besides the book has got explanatory drawings.
In the last few leaves, there is a raking index for each part of the book, since it has got more than a thousand pages.
This book cannot be bougth at stationery stores. The doctors and nurses who end up their studies need it for the exams aand then they get rid of it.
I have got tis Vademecum because I am working in a hospital in the morning and a nurse has given it to me as a present.

My city is diferent from the others in it typical food, such the Cocido(stew) and Paella.In the musical field we have got the 'Zarzuela' typical dances, Chotis and Sevillanas. Concerning the transport we have different kind such as the metro or bus, all makes an excellent means of comunication with all the districts around the town.
In addiction, there are very insteresting museums like Reina Sofia or Prado Museum, In the town there are aslo great important parks like the Retiro or very big and natural areas such as El Pardo, in the northwest of Madrid.

Trip to Lebanon

From December 2006 to 2008, I was a soldier, part of the BRIPAC (paratrooper brigade).When I arrived at the military base, that was my home for two years, some of my partners were in Lebanon distributed over the country. They were there for 3 months when in the afternoon on the 31th of June seven partners suffered a terrorist attack and six were killed.
The next day in the military base of Madrid, where I was paying my service, the Sergeant told us what happened, that some soldiers had to replace the dead partners. Then,6 parners and me decided to offer our services to replace them. We were volunteers to go to Lebanon. In the same week we fill all the necesary papers and the next day we took a plane to Beirut. That was the first time I travelled by plane. After five hours we arrived at Beirut and from there we took a car to the base that suffered the terrorist attack. We were in the 9/15 base for fifteen days, those days were very hard, because the mood of the people were a bit down. There were15 days of hard work and endurance but it was an experience that I will never forget.

Going to the Pyrenees...in Summer.

We decided that instead of a long trip we would go to the Pyrenees. So we need sport shoes and mountain boots, comfortable clothing, rain coats in case it rains, a bag, water and picnic food, a helmet, and some ot the climbing equipement: harness,alpenstocks, piolets, crampons.

The elected place will be the Vall of Nuria, which is located in the oriental Pyrenees in the municipal term of Queralbs. It is surrouned by peaks of above 3000 meters. The trip would last three days.

The first day we will go climbing, ascension to the top the venue will be Nou Creus where we will stay for four or five hours.

The second day we will go hiking to the Pedrisses for about two or three hours.

The third day we will go cycling to the Camivell.

The picnic will take place along the route in the magnificent scenery of Vall of Nuria. There we could enjoy the landscape and be in contact with nature.

My friends and I have thought about going on a trip to the mountains. For that reason we will need sleeping bags, drinking water, food, winter coats in case the weather is cold.
Our place of destination will be the mountains of Madrid, and we would like to climb La Bola del Mundo in order to see Madrid from above.
When we will be there, we will observe and examine the flora and the fauna. We will see all the type of animals and the diversity of flowers. One of my friends knows a lot about environment, therefore we will learn how to name the plants and the characteristics of different animals that we will see. At night we will stay in a tent or a cave, where we will sleep and eat.
We will repeat the same for about three days.

My cat is called Tom, she is 12 years old and is a mixture of siamese and street cat.

She has got dark brown and dark ears and almost a black tail, with a white mouth, neck and gauntlets and white socks also.

On the other hand, the disadvantages are that you have to adapt yourself to the conditions and rules of the owner, for example, you can not have pets in the flat, you cannot make changes of furniture, neither you can do any repairs or any transformation in the house.

I think that living in a flat is better than living in a house, because you can clean it faster and it can be very cosy. We have neighbours and we can count on them.
On the other hand, the walls in a flat are very thin and unfortunately you can listen to your neighbours. You have to respect them because living in a community it is supposed that there should be some rules to be respected, such as not to make any noise after 10:00, or not ot use any electric appliances at night, etc.
In conclusion, I think that living in a flat has more disadvantages than advantages, but, at the moment, we can´t afford to buy a house, because we have great difficulties in paying our mortgage for a small flat.

Suffering: animals may have a more intense suffering than humans, because they haven't got the ability to anticipate the situation that causes pain, the fear of a new and unknown event will increase their anxiety and suffering further.
Fear: when to attack, the alternative to escape for the animal is impossible to have. There is no choice to face fear.
Anxiety: when it is unnecessary it can hurt the animal, only to have to it here as a warning.

I love music, I usally listen to it to test my feelings, when I am happy or when I am sad. The styles of music that I usually listen to are very variable. I don´t like flamenco music very much, and Funk is my favourite style. My favourite singers are Celtas Cortos though they have turned into a commercial kind of product. Then Laura Pausini who I am charmed with, since I was 6 years old. Alex Ubago I like him too because he is very kind with his fans. I met him once in the town centre of Madrid and he talked to me. My favourite song is What´s a Feeling of Irene Cara.

A Trip to the Canary Islands

This holy week has been special because I enjoyed it a lot. I celebrated my birthday in the beach. I went to pay a visit to a classmate. I visited 70% of the coast by car and I swam in some beaches, but I climbed the mountains too to see Roque Nublo, from where one can see the Island of Tenerife and the peak of the Teide. I visited the area where they celebrate the carnivals such as in Las Palmas and then the whole area of the harbour and the town including the Science Museum.

What I Would Like to Become

I would be charmed with being devoted to the education, teaching sports to young people, but I haven´t decided up my mind yet to study a special subject when I leave school. I would like to do something related to English, because it seems to m to be easis and with a foreign language you have more oppotunities to applay for a job, apart from being only an English teacher. Another option I would like to take into consideration would be my interested to work in kindergarden, though I prefer working with older ones. Since I haven´t decided it yet, I belive that I would make my mind up as soon as I enter the University.

I have'nt got a boy´s physical prototype, but physically I would like him to be kind who looks after himself. My ideal boyfriend has to be mature and independent and who looks after his money in a reasonable way. He has to have a good sense of humour and make myself laugh, be kind but without being a too demanding person, that he trust me and I could trust him. We could share things together, we could count on eachother. He has to be gentle in the right things and understanfdable in the wrong things done, he should be optimistic and make me an enthousiastic person which should be able to rise my spirit. Interactive hoardings have advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that you rapidly can find the advertisement without having to stop, to read, and to have the possibility of changing the advertisement.
The disadvatages are a great number, I think, as it is an invasion of privacy, because you can't decide when to stop these advertisemts and they are bombarding your mind.
On the other hand, digital technology should provide opprtunities for people who can not see or hear. In the future, digital advertisemts will be more harmful towards your privacy than now. Technology advances go very fast but we must learn how to respect the privacy of every individual, for example, with experts to examine the advertisemts before they appear on the screen. .

Commercials are a tool to make products known, by the public, and it is used in many fields.
Firstly, I think that hoardings is a good way for people to know the trends of fashion and we can choose the best easily.
Secondly, I don´t agree with the ways of using it, because it is inconvenient on numerous occasions. In other words, if we are watching a film and commercials appear for half an hour, this provoke that we won´t continue watching it. Or that bad habit of using advertisement when the series is ending.
Thirdly and the last, I understand that advertising is continuously used on television or newspapers and radio... But they should study the most suitable form for the audience to get profit of it, so the don´t get tired easily.
In conclusion, commercials are necessary, but they have to know how to use it, and how to respect the customers.
